ITINERARY
Day 1 : Drive to Guptakashi 185 km (via) Deoprayag, Srinagar
and Rudraprayag. Night halt at Tourist Bungalow,
Guptakashi(1,319metres).
Day 2 : Drive to Ukhimath 14 km. Trek top Deoriatal 8km.
Night halt Alpine style.
Day 3 : Trek to Dogal-bitta through thick forest all the
way ascending from 1500 to 2000 metres, 16km trek. Night halt in
the compounds of DogalbittaInspection House Alpine style.
Day 4 : Trek to Chopta, 9 km on snowy slopes in winter
months where base camp will be established. This is a great
adventure.
Day 5 : Attempt Chandrashilla peak 4,679 metres via
Tungnath 7 km and return to base camp or acclimatize for the next
day's attempt.
